Irish IT services and consulting provider Version 1 plans to create 90 jobs over the next two years. The company already employs 300 staff at its Dublin-based headquarters and at offices in Cork and Belfast.

€60,000 was raised at a benefit auction yesterday for artist Alexandra Trotsenko whose three fingers were cut off during a burglary in Dublin in 2009. The “Art for Alexandra” auction was held by Adams Blackrock fine arts auctioneers and an astounding 198 pieces were donated to the cause.
